As a newborn photographer, I often hear the intimate details of a couple's journey to conceive. Miscarriage at any stage is real, devastating and heartbreaking. I have many friends and family members who have gone through this loss in life and even I myself have experienced the struggle to conceive and the devastating loss that follows after you believe your prayers have been answered. Yet in each situation there has been a rainbow, a sign of hope, that always follows. Listen to this beautiful red head's mama share her heart in her own words and tell you a bit of her story and why she chose our studio to capture the new light of their life, their love, their rainbow baby.
"I didn't know a love like this existed until I met my daughter. Ella is our rainbow baby. A rainbow baby is a baby born following a miscarriage or stillborn. A beautiful, bright rainbow follows a storm and gives hope that things get better. And things couldn't be better! Her dad and I experienced infertility and pregnancy losses- we were starting to feel defeated. But God had a plan, he knew we needed her! And now I know, the harder you have to fight for something, the more priceless it will be when you achieve it. That's why it was so important for me to find a photographer who would capture our baby girl beautifully. Thank goodness for Angela! She listened to my ideas, saw my vision, and executed it perfectly. I love every single picture she took of my daughter and my family. I can truly feel the love when I look at our images! Angela is so patient, I call her the baby whisperer! And as a result, we have pictures we will cherish for a lifetime! When I see my baby girl, I know she was worth waiting for and worth fighting for!"

Angela Eller - Thank you so much Peggy! I agree, I too wish newborn photographers existed when I was born and when I had my daughter so that I would have beautiful professional portraits of me with my mom and myself with my daughter. This is why I am so passionate about helping others preserve their family history.

Peggy McGaugh - Angela, you are a true professional and these pictures are a testament of that. What beautiful pictures, that this family will cherish forever. Such a heartwarming story told by the mother of this precious child. I sure wish there were photographers like you when I had my babies, that could capture the true miracle of an infant.
